We think we know a great deal about Japanese culture: action movies, sushi, Japanese songs, and so on. According to us this is Japan's true postcard. However there are many other things you can learn about this land so interesting. Just read them below to find out the wide range of this country:

1

"The green light at the traffic lights for both pedestrians, (human signs) and cars is the signal indicating you can cross the road." However, in pedestrian crossings in Japan, do not expect to see a green man. Instead, you will see a rabbit, a character created by Dick Bruna, an author of children's books.

We are used to sitting in chairs at cafes. However, the Japanese have it different. Chairs in the premises resemble more low-lying chairs where they can stretch.

3

To reduce stress and to get rid of headaches, we often use special masks that have a very simple design. In Japan, there is a more creative and "lazy" variant - electric accessories with different colors

4

It seems perfectly normal for us to stop at our nearest cafe to have a coffee or to have lunch alone during the break at work. However, in Japanese cafes, customers get big stuffed bear, so they do not feel sad.

In the rest of the world, during the New Year and at Christmas, people cook lots of delicious food and have a great party. This is what separates a regular meal from a holiday. This is strange, but in Japan, people have a different attitude towards these things: on Christmas night, they consume chicken wings from KFC.
