Online procedures:

* According to NAIS, now all businesses must apply online for their employees to receive maternity pay, through the online service "Maternity pay claim for employees".

* To successfully complete an application, the registration process on the e-Albania platform must first be carried out by the head of the institution (his / her legal representative), if this procedure has not been performed before. The holder, from his personal account to e-Albania, is identified on the portal and then heading to the section "My Space" and then to the "Register a Business" sub-section, filling in the form with the institution that appears online.

* When registering as a business on the portal, one should perform identification as a business on the platform, selecting the option "Identify citizens / businesses with password" and enter in the User Code the NIPT of the institution and the password selected for this account. online.

* After successfully logging into the platform, select the online service: "Employment Request for Employees" and launch the online application by clicking the "Use" button.

* In the case of an application to be re-run, the service user should click the "New Application" button, which will immediately display the online form.

* Initially elects the regional directorate of the district where it is located and operates, while in the first section of the form data is automatically filled in for the subject, thanks to the interoperability of electronic systems of state institutions involved in the procedure.

* In the second section of the form, the employer sets the employee identification number that will receive the remuneration by enabling automatic data entry.

* In the third part of the form, choose whether the remuneration is pre-natal or post-natal, with the second option also associated with the child's or children's identification number (s); the specific month for which the remuneration is to be spent and the manner in which it will be received, whether by mail or bank.

* At the end of the application are the accompanying documents that the employer must provide, which uploads them to the platform, specifically: Medical report on pregnancy or other additional documents depending on the situation.

* After filling in the form, uploading the documentation and clicking the "Apply" button, the resulting procedure is performed by the applicant.

Upon completion of all actions, the employee receives the maternity pay and the employer easily performed actions that he previously had to perform physically at the Social Security Institute's windows.
