We know that sweets are your favorite on the weekends, so tomorrow, which is Sunday, allow yourself to break your diet and prepare a carrot cake. We found the recipe on the YouTube channel of the singer Nertila Koka, who has shared with her followers step by step the way she prepares the cake. We could not resist and we are working hard now.


• 50-60 gr of crushed nuts

• 300 gr minced carrots

• 200 gr of sugar

• 3 eggs

• 200 ml of sunflower oil

• 225 gr of flour

• 1 teaspoon baking soda

• 1 teaspoon baking powder

• salt

To prepare the cream you need:

• 200 gr Philadelphia

• 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

• 2-3 tablespoons of lemon

Method of preparation:

First preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Then combine the sugar with the oil and mix with a mixer or egg beater. Add the eggs one by one continuing with the mixture.

In another bowl, mix the salt, flour, baking soda and baking powder. Once you have mixed them well, add them to the bowl where the eggs are and mix them again with a mixer until a creamy mass is formed. Add the carrots and nuts to the mixture and mix well.

Pour the dough into a pan where the baking paper was originally laid (the diameter of the dish should be about 22-23 cm) and bake for 40-45 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.

While the cake is cooling, prepare the cream.

In a bowl, mix well with a spoonful of Philadephia, powdered sugar and lemon juice, until cream is formed. Once the cake has cooled, coat the entire surface with the prepared cream and add the nuts on top.
