Salma Hayek Pinault fans have recently spoken out about the fact that when the actress married French fashion mogul François-Henri Pinault in 2009, she had no idea she was getting married that day.
During her Glamor cover interview, Hayek Pinault, 56, revealed that her Valentine's Day 2009 wedding to French businessman François-Henri Pinault, 60, was a complete surprise to her.
"I didn't even know I was getting married that day," she told Glamour
"It was like an intervention. I don't think I've ever told this story before. They just took me to court. My parents, my brother, they were all 'attacking' me. I had a phobia of marriage.”
Despite the push the actress needed to celebrate, her marriage is stronger than ever even after 14 years.
The pair have a 15-year-old daughter, Valentina Paloma, while François-Henri Pinault also has three children from previous relationships.
"I married a man who is very supportive. He saw things in me that I didn't see in myself."
But how does the couple keep things between them from getting boring even a decade later?
The actress says that "doing nothing is underrated".
"I didn't realize this for a long time, but it's perfectly okay to not do anything with your partner and just be together. Sometimes, being by his side with a cup of tea is more than enough. It's small, simple things."
