An important event on the fashion calendar was scheduled for May 4 this year, but plans have changed. As a result of the global pandemic, the Met Gala, like many other events, has been postponed.

This major event was organized by Vogue's Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour, and has been held since the first Monday of May since 2005. This will not be the case for the first time this year.

This year's theme was "About Time: Fashion and Duration", sponsored by luxury brand Louis Vuitton. VIP dresses were meant to be a time travel from the 1870s to the present day.

The Metropolitan Museum announced a few days ago that it would close its doors temporarily. Wintour wrote about the decision in an article in Vogue, confirming that the event would not be held as planned, due to the museum's decision. She added that there will be a second announcement of the date when the Met Gala will be held.
