Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has revealed what are the two major threats to humanity in the future, in addition to the pandemics he had predicted since 2015.
In an interview with Derek Muller's YouTube channel, Gates points out that: climate change and bioterrorism are serious problems that await us in the future.
Regarding climate change, Bill Gates points out that the number of victims in a year 'will be much greater' than the one causing the Covid-19 pandemic:
'To show you the consequences of climate change, it is enough to imagine the damage caused by the pandemic prolonged over time. In 2060, climate change could be as deadly as the pandemic, while in 2100 it could be 5 times more deadly than the coronavirus'.
As for bioterrorism, Gates said many people do not want to talk about it, but 'there is a possibility that someone who wants to do a lot of damage could create a virus that is far more deadly than SARS-CoV-2.' .
