Renowned Indian actor of Indian movies and series, Siddharth Shukla, has died suddenly at the age of 40, from a heart attack.
An Indian doctor told the BBC the cause of death was not yet clear, but local media said he had suffered a heart attack.
" He was brought to the hospital dead some time ago ," a manager at Cooper Hospital told local media. "Initial reports indicate he suffered a heart attack, but to be safe we ??have to complete the autopsy." - he added further.
Shukla had starred in many films and serials of the Indian television industry known as 'Bollywood'.
"The news has shaken the television industry , " said Rohit Khilnani, head of the local television group NDTV.
Numerous messages of condolence came to the actor from industry, friends and family. They expressed sorrow for the sudden death at such a young age.
