Soulja Boy will become a father! The famous rapper is expecting his first child with hairdresser Jackilyn Martinez.

Soulja Boy announced the exciting news via Instagram on Saturday with a video from the gender discovery party.

"He is a boy", he wrote in the caption of the clip, where he appeared exciting them while celebrating with family and friends.

The rapper had previously expressed his desire to have children one day.

"I have everything I want in life except a boy," he said via Instagram Story in September 2021, praying to God to bless him with a child.

Soulja Boy became famous for his 2007 hits "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" and "Kiss Me Thru the Phone" in 2008. Meanwhile, Martinez has worked with a number of famous clients including Brandy, French Montana , Kim Kardashian and Tamar Braxton.
