Surely you all know the feeling that comes over you every time your relatives, friends, but also those you meet for the first time in your life ask "What's new?" As you understand, they are not talking about a new job, nor about a new dress, nor about a new bag that you happily bought the other day. Of course, they don't even mean anything new from home, from relatives, so it's pointless to pretend you didn't understand the question... "What's new?" is always a striking question, which, depending on the people who ask it, often turns offensive…
Even, just as insulting as when they ask you "how much is your salary" and just as insulting as when they identify the kilos that "you've gained in the last two weeks". It is equally insulting when, completely without tact, that part of people who are farthest from the friendly circle, even dares to "analyze" your state of mind due to the lack of a partner. Or, worse still, to comfort you with the cliché expression: "Better alone than badly accompanied..." But who said that I feel bad because I'm not accompanied? Who said I feel bad without a man by my side? I have plenty of other reasons to feel good about myself and my age.
If there are others my age who "suffer", it is not my problem. I have many reasons to feel good and at peace with myself…. As long as they don't ask me the question "what's new?"

2 - Because I can do whatever I want
3 - Because I can date any guy I want
4 - Because I can have time without skirt for chicks (dying for girl's time)
5 – Because I have the bed all to myself
6 – Because sex life has no rules
7 – Because I can wear whatever I want
8 – Because I can be friends with my ex-boyfriend
9 – Because I don't have to wax all the time
10 – Because I can still have kids
11 – Because I don't have to share rations
12 – Because I can do all the crazy things I always like to do
13 – Because I don't share my wardrobe with anyone
14 – Because I can meet the boys anywhere and anytime
15 - Because... divorce
16 - Because I don't have to make "deals" with the in-laws
17 - Because "forever" is a long time
18 - Because I don't have to give birthday, anniversary, holiday gifts (I don't money comes out to do this)
19 – Because having children means changing your life completely
20 – Because I can wear rings on the fingers I want
21 – Because marriage is no longer the cliché "butterflies in the stomach"
22 – Because boys they need help. For everything
23 - Because I can spend 30 percent of my salary on things I really like (or more)
24 - Because some of the most attractive women we know are single
25 - Because time is still on my side
26 - Because 30 it's the new 20s
