Telekom Albania became part of the first conference that took place in Tirana on Intelligent Cities and Energy Efficient Industries. For the first time in our country were discussed the most advanced intelligent projects in an event organized by the Danish Embassy with the support of Telekom Albania.

Intelligent Cities are a manifestation of Internet of Things, which through the technological function manage to coordinate the organization of a structure. All this happens to facilitate the everyday life of anyone who puts them into the personal function or to increase the efficiency of the activities. This concept has been introduced for years in various European cities through projects that have changed the way it interacts with the city.

Deutsche Telekom, Deutsche Telekom, vice president of Intelligent Cities, said: "Deutsche Telekom offers intelligent solutions to the needs of every city, such as Germany, Albania, Croatia, and others. About 17 European cities provide very good examples of intelligent projects implemented in recent years. "We are flexible and have successfully implemented projects in Albania as well. We do our job as a company to collect data to understand the needs of each area and to provide ever-more intelligent solutions in line with city needs." - he said.

The term of intelligent cities has also been successfully implemented in Albania with projects such as SMS Parking, Electric Carriers, and others. Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj mentioned the SMS parking lot project, which has started implementation for a year already. He said that: "Over 50% of citizens pay parking by message. This is a concrete example that shows that modern solutions work in Albania. "

Backed by Telekom Albania, the conference brought together senior professionals and senior officials to discuss the directions that cities are taking towards intelligent solutions. Telekom Albania, as part of the international giant Deutsche Telekom, has been investing in intelligent solutions projects for years.
