Hey Girls of Class,
One of the questions that I often made myself when I began to pay little attention to facial care was whether I should use cold or hot water to wash it off. I asked the doctor, aestheticists, and each one gave me a different answer. However, after reading and doing my online research, I decided to try it on my face, what was the worst thing to do next? Well, that's what I thought wrong, hahaha.
To quench your dilemma the correct answer is: Face should be washed with lukewarm water in the cold. I have read many theories that hot water "opens the pores", cleanses the skin deeply. But as I said and heard thousands of times, the pores do not even open or close. Hot water irritates, soothes the skin. Hot water is very easy to remove impurities, but they say too much skin. Moreover, if used frequently, hot water stimulates the action of the fatty glands and gives the idea of â??â??dilated pores. On the other hand, very cold water again brings a similar reaction to our skin. Its use reduces the activity of the glandular grease, and it results in drying of the skin. I must add that cold water also causes narrowing of the capillaries of the skin, it does not feed and oxygenate properly.
So, the ideal solution lies somewhere in the middle ... To lukewarm water in the cold, because it does not hide the skin, nor does it irritate it. And remember, choose a delicate face lotion and put your moisturizer in a few seconds after you wash your face!
