Prince William has shown in an interview with ABC News that their relationship has passed some tough tests. William has spoken about a short break with Kate. In 2007, William did not accept Kate's invitation to celebrate New Year with her family. William has shown that both of them were too young and they seemed too early to take matters so seriously.
"We were in the university and we were trying to find ourselves, but we were different characters. We needed a little space, and that disconnection served us well," said Prince William.
