A weekly olive oil dose may be better than veggie in improving male performance in the bedroom, a new study suggests. Scientists from Athens University in Greece say only 9 tablespoons of this ingredient are enough to reduce the risk of impotence by almost 40%.
Olive oil has a range of health benefits, such as protecting the blood vessels or improving blood circulation throughout the body. According to the Health Newspaper, a study conducted at more than 600 men with an average age of 67 found that those who follow a Mediterranean-style diet rich in fruits, vegetables, legumes, fish, dried fruits and olive oil - have fewer problems with reproductive health.
Olive oil can also help increase testosterone levels, thereby reducing the risk of erectile dysfunction. Fatigue, anxiety and alcohol consumption are some of the factors that increase the risk of developing male reproductive health problems.
