DV-2020 Lottery Electronic Registration Period
The DV-2020 electronic lottery registration will resume on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 12:00 PM, Eastern Time (EDT) (GMT-4) and will close on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at midday 12: 00 Eastern Standard Time (EST) (GMT-5).

Applicants can complete the electronic application on the official E-DV website during the registration period. DV guidelines are also available on the Department of State website.
Starting from May 7, 2019, to see if they are selected, DV-2020 registrants will be able to use their unique number of confirmation provided in the census by checking Online Status Check of the Registrars on the official E- DV. Registered Status Control will inform the selected participants on how to apply for the Lottery Visa for themselves and their family members. The selected will be able to learn their visa interview date by entering the Status Check of the Registrars.
