In Switzerland there are many hotels with wonderful views, but you know that a small village will turn all into a hotel with scattered rooms. Each village house will serve as a room. Corippo is called a village in Switzerland, in the Ticino area, where Italian is spoken and is a country rich in impressive charm, history and architecture. But there is a small problem: the number of residents has dropped from 300 to just 12 and 11 of them are over 65, according to CNN.

This situation threatens to lead the village to disappearance, but the local foundation, Corippo 1975, has found a solution to take the village out of this situation and develop tourism there. 30 village buildings will be transformed into a single resort. Fabio Giacomazzi is the architect and president of this foundation, who gave the hotel idea with scattered rooms. Some other Italian countries like; Sextantio, Il Borgo di Sempronio and Corte della Maestà have been transformed into scattered hotels and have been successful. $ 2.7 million have been made available to transform the village.

Giacomazzi told CNN he hopes that other families will come to the village to live together with workers who will serve tourists. One of the houses, called Casa Arcotti, is open to the public, while others are foreseen to open for the Passover of 2020.
