Today is the last day for all those who want to apply for American Lottery. The electronic DV-2020 lottery registration started on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 12:00 o'clock, the Eastern Time (EDT), or at 18:00 and closes today, on November 6, 2018.
The American Embassy has consistently provided advice to all those interested in this period in order to carefully fill out the form in order to avoid any mistake that might disqualify. Applicants can complete the electronic application on the official EDV website, during the registration period. DV guidelines are also available on the Department of State website.
procedures
Starting from May 7, 2019, to see if they are selected, DV-2020 registrants will be able to use their unique number of confirmation provided in the census by checking Online Status Check of the Registrars on the official E- DV.
Registered Status Control will inform the selected participants on how to apply for the Lottery Visa for themselves and their family members.
The selected will be able to learn their visa interview date by entering the Status Check of the Registrars. For those who have applied for the DV-2019 Lottery Program, the official selection notice will be performed directly through the Entrant Status Check, which will be in use starting May 2, 2018, of the US Department of State's Web site, the Consular Affairs Bureau, the Diversity Visa Program. This is the only way you will get notification of your application status. If you receive a notification by email or mail about your selection in the E-DV lottery, you should know that this notice is not legitimate. Only after you are selected after you have responded to the notification instructions enabled by you through the Status Check of the Application, and after your case has started to be reviewed, only then can you get an ongoing e-mail communication by the CCK informing you to check the Application Status Control for new information about your application.
