In an interview with Vogue, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin told their life as newcomers and their unconventional decisions for a young couple. Among other things, Justin has shown that he had a year without performing sexual intercourse due to his religious beliefs. He had given up sex to be closer to God.
" He [the Lord] does not ask us to have sex because he has rules but because he tries to protect us from pain and injury. I think sex can cause a lot of pain. Sometimes people have sex because they do not feel good enough or lack self-confidence. I wanted to dedicate myself to God, for I felt it was better for the state of my soul. Justin and Hailey reunited in June and three months later, they made the decision to marry. One of the reasons why they rushed things was exactly the desire to make relationships and Justin as a believer could not do this without marrying.
