Japanese children are wonderful. Generally, they are polite, friendly, and have no negative feelings! In Japan, you rarely meet a crying baby in the supermarket (though there are always exceptions to the rule). The Right Side shows us some educational efforts by Japanese parents! Below you can read some of them and apply them!

The mother-child relationship is tight

In Japan, the relationship between mother and child is really strong. They stay with them all the time, and even when they are older, mothers choose to sleep with their children! According to Japanese mothers there is a rule before the baby becomes 5 years old: Let them do what they want! There are parents who think this as an excessive license, but they seem to be wrong. This principle makes children think that they are good. There is a study conducted by American and Japanese scientists that shows a link between an encouraging style of child growth and behavior. Researchers claim that positive attitudes of parents reduce the risk of problematic behavior in children and improve the behavior of children with developmental disorders.

Japanese education system

All people equal people. Japanese Princess Ayako (the second on the right) is performing with classmates during an athletic festival in Tokyo. According to the Japanese education system, children are perfected up to the age of 5, from age 5 to 15 they have to serve, and after the age of 15 are equal to the parents. For many foreigners, this is wrong or is not done well. This philosophy aims to set up a collective society where personal interests are not the most important thing.

discipline

In the first phase , parents are giving a lot of love and care to their children.

In the second stage, love does not disappear, but a child learns to live according to the rules of society and tries to find their goal in this world. Since the mother-child connection is really strong, a child tries to do everything right to not upset their mother.

In the third phase , the child becomes a full member of the society.

The family is one of the most important things in life

As a rule, mothers raise their children. They spend a lot of time together: The Japanese think that children should not be sent to the garden without becoming 3 years old. Parents do not usually ask for help from their grandparents and do not hire a nanny. Though, children spend a lot of time with their grandparents and relatives. Relationship with family members is quite warm. The Japanese do a lot for their family: protect and support them.
