Among the victims of the tragic assault on Sri Lanka were the three children of Asos billionaire Anders Holch Povlsen of Denmark. His son Alfred and his daughters, Alma and Agnes, died during the terrorist attack on Easter Day, while his other daughter, Astrid, survived. In a message read during a memorial in Brande, Denmark, the family pledged to pass the tragedy together.
"The loss of our dear children Alma, Agnes and Alfred is totally incomprehensible. With so many loving people we have; close friends, colleagues and family, we will spend all of this together. We appreciate the humanity shown tonight in Brande not only for our family and children but for all the victims of the cruel attack in Sri Lanka , "said Anders and his family.
Many people gathered in the city square to light up torches, sing songs, read prayers, and hold two minutes of silence in respect of the victims.
