If you are in your career beginnings, a new job, just like any other new experience, is always challenging at its beginnings. But the challenges we face should not hinder us in seeking new opportunities around us. Even, often, these opportunities can be very close to us, but we do not take trouble or appreciate them.
There are several reasons why this happens. Having a long-term job means first financial stability and scientifically proven that financial stability has a positive impact on our physical and mental health.
In addition to stability, there are good social relationships that are created in the work environment. The feeling that you are with people whom you know long ago makes you feel good, and ultimately, who would not want such a thing.
But not so much. Staying in a job gives you the ability to create experience, grow in position, and thus embrace every detail of the job.
We should also mention the fact that the labor market today is characterized by high competition, as there are plenty of talented young people, persistent and willing to move on to their career. For this reason, many of them feel lucky only to have had a job in the respective professions.
These are reasons, but not only, that make us "stumble" into a job and do not seek new opportunities.
But let's look at the other side of the coin.
Staying in a job for a long time makes one way or another, creating our comfort zone. We are in a job where we know most of the tasks, we know all the people. In short, we feel comfortable. But if we look further, we will understand that this work has actually turned into something monotonous. Monotony is the main killer of motivation and productivity.
Not feeling motivated for work is the first sign that something is wrong, because in a job where we do not feel motivated, we can not even give our maximum. In this way, productivity will also be low.
Monotony and dissatisfaction at work are also reflected in everyday life, becoming the cause of unhappiness and inactivity. Doing the same thing every day does not require the most from yourself and dreams.
We also said that if we stay in a work environment we will have the opportunity to learn many aspects and tasks not only of our profession but also of colleagues. This is good enough, but there is always a moment when we have no new things to learn.
A new job makes you cross the limits, be more active, and often people who ask for this make it feel better.
A person with aspirations for his career is always looking to learn new things.
On the other hand, we know that there are desires and goals to improve, the factors that push us forward, but in an environment that does not provide us with opportunities to learn, our personal goals can not be met.
Although it is difficult to get out of the comfort zone, if your current job does not offer the development you want and expect from yourself, then it's time to make changes.
Do not miss a minute more, there are plenty of gates to provide information on vacancies, where you can very well give your contribution, learn and feel fulfilled!
