I want to buy a Louis Vuitton Neverfull purse. The most economical idea would be to expect reductions because, no bags of this mark below $ 1000. But there is a problem with this idea - the French luxury brand does NOT make discounts at prices. Why?

When Henry Racamier took the Louis Vuitton mark, he made a methodology called vertical integration: Which means that LV had full control since production until the goods were sold to customers.

Racamier made LV brand products not sold in any other store that was not Louis. When Louis sold retail products, stores placed higher prices and benefited large sums of money. Louis does not allow this anymore. It sells products only in its own stores at high prices. So, the whole profit is for them do not need to sell at retail. They can control it more easily when a product is disliked, therefore having full control over production, stop producing it, but never lower the price.

So if you hear someone telling you there is a LV down there, that will surely be a myth.
