Their wedding was expected for years as they have been together for 12 years. Alban Skenderaj and Miriam Cani decided to marry "in secret" in the Maldives in a very significant place for them. Years ago, Albani proposed underwater to Miriam in the same place. The couple returned to this destination a month ago to say "yes" to each other until eternity. Amel, the fruit of their love, was accompanied by this special journey. Why, though, did they conceal their wedding? In an interview with Prive, Albani has shown that he and Miriam never wanted a grand wedding, but more private, with people who really matter to them.
"It was an unprecedented experience, a little tedious, but very beautiful! It was a fantastic feeling! We have never been too much for these pompous, magnificent, or many-day weddings. We find it a bit difficult, that we are such things. For us it was great to have our close people, our daughter in that magical place, painted everything himself, no decoration needed. The fact that we were engaged there in the same place for us was something very special, perhaps symbolic, but still a beautiful memory, " said Albani.
In Maldives, it seems to be the luckiest country of the couple, as they learned of the good news that they will become even more a child. Miriam, as you know, is pregnant while waiting for the second child.
