Voting for Kosovo's membership in Eurovision at the EBU General Assembly (European Union of Radio-Television), held in Oslo, has been completed.
Changes in EBU status that would help Radio Television of Kosovo (RTK) to become a member of this organization have failed.
Before the start of the vote, 17 countries, including Greece, Cyprus, Spain and Serbia, called for a secret ballot and this request was accepted. Out of 1186 voters, 673 voted against, 400 pro and 113 abstentions.
The result clearly shows that we should still wait to see Kosovo's representatives on the big stage of the European song festival.
