An international team of explorers have returned to the Titanic's ruins in the Atlantic Ocean after a full 15 years, after 2004. It was the first dive in the last 15 years near the most famous ship in history, but experts are saddened by the fact that there have found a structure, which is rapidly disappearing.

One of the fascinating details that is missing is the captain's bathtub, photographed during the 1996 expedition, but now no longer found.

"The Titanic is returning to nature," says historian Parks Stephenson in a BBC video.

Experts warn that important parts of the ship will disappear soon.

The Titanic sank in the cold Atlantic waters in 1912, with 2200 passengers and personnel aboard. More than 1,500 people were killed after the boat crashed into an iceberg, 600km off the coast of Canada. The ship had a final destination in New York.
