There are two types of people in the world: towel dryers and natural dryers. It is a long debate that constantly brings different arguments. But this time we will focus only on the drying of the hair. If you are in the first group of people (who dry their hair with towels), you are not alone.
However, you can see both the ways and the "arguments" that each of the two groups brings. After all, this is a personal matter. Many people support the idea that towels have a lot of bacteria, others that drying their hair with dryers or natural drying has other consequences such as dehydration. Here are two theories in defense of each group:
To protect dryers: towels can carry many germs and bacteria if not washed frequently. These germs can also cause irritation to the scalp. However, in these cases, you do not need to rub your hair tightly with towels, it is enough to absorb excess water and so on.
In defense of those who use the towel: shower water, even because of the high temperature, can affect the drying of the skin (scalp) and the longer this process lasts, the worse it is for the skin. The longer the water stays on the skin (even on the face especially), the more it will affect its drying.
Whether you are in the first or second group, one thing is safe and hydrating. To prevent further drying of the scalp as well as the skin of the body, you should use a specific moisturizing cream after each wash.
