Having sex is a good thing for your health and will keep you healthy for about seven years. This data comes from psychologist David Weeks, head of the Royal Hospital in Edinburgh, who in his speech at the British Psychological Society conference illustrated the results of a study on the sexual life of a group of volunteers.

His team has interviewed men and women of all ages over the past 10 years, finding that those who showed less than their real age were the same ones who claimed to make love at least three times a week, recording "on average" 50% more sex than others ".

The benefits to a healthy and joyful sexual activity are: greater release of endorphins, improved sleep, blood circulation, heart health and impact on the skin making it more resilient and radiant.

But the positive effects of sex are not over, there are still other advantages to those who practice this fun and rewarding activity. Hunger attacks diminish because sex is like chocolate, it fulfills a desire, but it burns calories and also erases that feeling of hunger for lack of love. Immune protection is strengthened because antibodies that stimulate our immune system increase by about 30%.

Doing sex is like doing an aerobic activity, it reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease, the heart beats faster, the breath is faster, and the heart gets more oxygen. Sex is also good for women in menopause, it reduces temperature changes, improves blood circulation and even mood.
