Princess Charlotte, the sweet of the royal family, will have a new name. Tomorrow, September 5, she will start studying at St Thomas's Battersea School - where her brother, Prince George, also studies.
The sweet daughter of Kate Middleton and Prince William will start St. Thomas' Battersea Elementary School tomorrow, accompanied by her parents (expect a nice photo set tomorrow) but with a completely different name.
Charlotte's full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, but the whole world, no doubt knows her as Princess Charlotte. However, her parents, unwilling to separate her from her classmates, have preferred that their little one keep her real name at school.
Kate and William have no desire for friends to call their daughter a "princess", so Charlotte won't have a royal title while pursuing studies at St Thomas's Battersea.
Some British media reports say the baby will be named Charlotte Cambridge (as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge). This name, as well as her brother's, bears this name at school, George Cambridge. Likewise, Prince William and Prince Harry also had the names William and Harry Wales at school during their years of study.
