I'm 17 years old. I'm not sexually active. I have had sex only once, but I have had problems with vaginal secretions before. I have a lot of vaginal discharge, with a heavy odor (but not like fish). When I started using birth control pills, it seemed like I had fewer secretions, but Mom stopped using them and now I have this problem again. Do I have any health problems? Do I need to do some control?

You need to calm down. What you are describing does not look like a problem with vaginal secretions. It is perfectly normal and healthy to have white secretions (may look yellow when dried) that have a certain, even heavy, flavor.

In some days you may have more secretions. You have to worry about whether the secretions start to smell heavy like fish or change greatly in color or shape. Yellow or green secretions can be a sign of an infection, such as sexually transmitted infections or bacterial vaginosis, while very thick and white secretions may be a sign of a mycotic infection.
