Famous singer Elton John has named Michael Jackson mentally ill in his latest book, Me. In this book John talks a lot about Jackson as they have known each other for many years. But the last years of the pop star's life, he was no longer the same according to Elton John. Among other things, he points out that his mental state was aggravated.

â??I've known Michael since the age of 13 or 14. He was an incredibly cute kid. Then, all of a sudden, it began to isolate itself from the world, just as Elvis Presley did. One God knows what drugs he was taking, but every time I met him in the last years of his life, the only thing I thought was that this poor man was missing. He was really mentally ill. It was difficult to spend time with him, â?John writes.

He even narrates an episode where he invited Michael to a party he had organized at home. Shortly after arriving at the party, Jackson was sidelined and invited to play with John's maid's son.

"I don't know why, but he couldn't handle adult society," says John.

Elton John's book, Me, will be released on Tuesday, but some international media have been able to obtain copies of it and discussions about what has been written have long since begun.
