Sulli, the 25-year-old of the K-pop group, was found dead at her home in Seongnam, South Korea. The 25-year-old and actress was found dead Monday by her manager, police report to CNN.

" So far, it appears that the singer and actress has killed herself, but investigations continue to reveal all the details. Opportunities for further investigation have been left open," police sources said.

The singer, whose real name is Choi Jin, was found on the second floor of her apartment in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam, south of the capital, Seoul.

Police said they found a note at the scene but have not yet analyzed its contents. Investigations are ongoing.

Sulli was a child actress before making her debut singing with the girl group f (x) in 2009.

She left the band in 2015 to focus on acting before returning to the music scene as a solo artist, releasing a single, "Goblin," in June 2019.

Sulli has also participated in the TV show. Korean pop music - or K-pop is one of the most popular trends in music of the last decade. Many of her stars have been training for years, highlighting their singing, dancing and acting skills while also learning other Asian languages before being allowed to debut their first songs.
