Cosmetic surgery is not just the "ground" of the female universe. In fact, the number of men who want a new face without the signs of age is increasing day by day. And the beauty limit for them is injection of insulin with a syringe.

If you want to look beautiful you have to suffer too. And who said that beauty has a certain age? Although in the 50's, if one is well cared for and hydrated, it has toned and smooth skin. And if until a few decades ago, aesthetic medicine was almost a franchise of poor sex, today there is a real twist. The percentages speak for themselves: the number of men relying on the surgeon's hands to improve parts of themselves is always higher. If botox is the intervention chosen by women (74%), the same requirement is 85% for men. With an increase of 19% compared to 2016. But the new beauty limit for women and men seems to be insulin, the key that allows the cell to open, favoring the penetration of the active ingredients we want to use.

"This involves facial rejuvenation because it strengthens all regenerative treatments, from fillers to classic injections. Insulin has to be low-dose, so it has no systemic effect," explains Maria Albini, coordinator of the Icamp International Congress, School of Aesthetic Medicine.

Demand for men's fillers is also on the rise, up 13% from previous years. In particular, men want to increase the volume of the zygomatic arch, otherwise known as the eye-to-ear area. Whereas, for liposuction, the first concern relates to abdominal overweight affecting two out of three patients and this is another mass intervention required by men.
