Greta Thunberg is just a vocal cause in the issue of climate change in the world! Other teens are obviously inspired by her example and are all girls! They have come together so that their voices can be heard on such major issues as global warming and climate. Want to know them? Here are five of them that the whole world is actually recognizing ...

Isra Hirsi
Isra Hirsi is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Youth Climate Strike organization, which fights like Greta Thunberg against climate change. Not only is Isra a young Muslim woman of color, but apparently nothing steps her in her decisions and resistance. "The voices of people like me, or of those from the most disadvantaged communities, are not heard in movements like this, so I want to make a difference," Isra Hirsi writes on Twitter. The roots of her activism lie in the family: Isra is the daughter of Ilhan Omar, a naturalized Somali politician who is also a strong voice in important causes.

Nadia Nazar
Climate change is not just about the environment, says Nadia Nazar. It's about health care, fresh air entry and water, mass immigration and displacement, floods and deserts: there are so many aspects. It magnifies all the problems we have today and, if we continue to do so, will worsen all other problems in our society. This teenage activist has very clear ideas and is determined to get to the bottom of her cause.

Helena Gualinga
Why talk only of fires in the Amazon forest today? Helena Gualinga is a Sarayak-based activist who has been fighting, since she was a child, about environmental injustices. In 2018, along with a team of activists like her, she created the digital platform Kawsak Sacha, to raise awareness of respect for nature and indigenous peoples. Its mission is "to keep people informed about what's happening on Amazon" and "to be the voice of its people, to tell what they want to say from Ecuador."

Autumn Peltier
Also known as the "water warrior", Autumn Peltier was only eight when she first learned that not all people in Canada have free access to potable water. Her environmental struggle began thus, at a young age. Today, Autumn Peltier claims to have participated in over 200 events on behalf of the environment. This year she received the International Children's Peace Prize for 2019. A moment to remember from her career as an activist? In 2016, she met with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the United Nations Assembly and expressed her dissatisfaction with the development of oil pipelines in Canada.

Anya Sastry
Anya Sastry, spokeswoman for the aftermath of climate change, has a mission to bring this movement to communities not yet involved in the global fight for environmental injustice, and to create access to communities that are marginalized and less privileged. At the heart of her battle is not only planet Earth: Anya Sastry is also active in supporting women's human rights, but she always opposes big names who rule the system from above. "When executives start behaving like children, kids have to start acting as leaders," Anya said in an interview with Island Press.
