A British gynecologist is warning women not to use their electronic toothbrush to masturbate after recent articles about the new trend that has significantly overwhelmed women. Anne Henderson told the Sun newspaper in the UK that the electronic device is suitable for tooth cleaning, while in intimate areas it causes damage. "This interesting new trend, as with many similar developments, can be very damaging," Henderson told the paper.

Henderson explained that the device can actually cause injuries. "The structure and shape of the toothbrush, regardless of which part is used, can damage or cause trauma to the delicate area of the vulva. Especially the clitoris, if used with one of the most aggressive cleaning heads," she said.

A similar trend was reported last month in Britain, when doctors advised women not to use toothpastes in an effort to tighten their vaginas.
