Lady Diana's famous blue velvet dress has gone on sale again. The princess wore the dress designed by Victor Edelstein for the first time in 1985 at the White House, where she danced with John Travolta. Her dance with the renowned actor made the lap of the world then and he described the experience as a fairy tale. But this is not the only time Diana has appeared in public with that dress that was dubbed a princess because of open-cut décolletage.

She has worn it on four other occasions, including a visit to Austria in 1986, an opera performance in 1991, and a portrait made by Lord Snowden in 1997.

In June 1997, just two months before her death, Diana put the dress up for auction for 100,000 pounds. The money raised from the auction went to charity. A Florida businessman named Maureen Dunkel bought the dress and put it back up for auction in 2011 when she went bankrupt. However, the dress was not sold until March 2013, when a British man bought it for £ 240,000 as a gift for his wife.

Now the dress is up for auction again. The starting value of the auction is $ 350,000. Not least, but not too much for those who still adore Princess Diana.
