It is another occasion and another golden opportunity that makes us all proud of our Albanian roots and origins! Another example of success coming from the famous Oxford University and having an Albanian girl as the protagonist. It's called Arta Ã?ika and almost all the media in the country are writing about it these days.

She is a Ph.D. in engineering science at the same university. Her research focuses on modeling and analyzing ad hoc networks, a particular type of decentralized network with no pre-existing infrastructure. Arta received two Master of Science Degrees in Information and Computer Engineering from Turin Polytechnic and Telecom ParisTech in 2015. Prior to starting her doctorate, she worked for a telecommunications company in France. Gold is the winner of the IRCN Scholarship awarded by the University of Tokyo.

In 2019, she was selected to attend the Complex Systems Summer School (CSSS) at Santa Fe Institute, NM, USA. In addition to her academic achievements, Arta is deeply involved in promoting women in STEM. She is a member of the committee of women engineering at Oxford University and part of the RisingWISE (Women in Science and Engineering) Program. She has a leading role in the Women in Engineering Society at Oxford University where she hosts many events in Oxford and cities around the world to promote women.

In continuous qualifications and frequent travel, it looks like her life is in airports, from one destination to another. Gold lived in four different states and seven cities. He is fluent in four languages (Albanian, English, Italian, French).

This month, Arta Chika was selected from among the 200 candidates to win the TechWomen100 in the UK (UK). For this award, anyone could nominate a woman who has made a special contribution in the field of technology. And Arta is just one of them! 100% Albanian success!
