We all know that emotions can cause strong bodily sensations. A new British study has found that when we experience different sensations in our body.
Researchers published data on some consistent results about experiencing emotions in different parts of the body, even across cultures of different peoples. For example, anxiety can feel like chest pain or when you fall in love, you can feel it all over your body.
The research was conducted online and over 700 individuals from Finland, Sweden and Taiwan participated. Researchers presented participants with different emotions that a person experiences and then showed them a picture of the human body so that they could colorfully identify the part of the body where they experience the relevant emotion.
