On December 4, 5 and 7, the Magic Song Festival will take place at the Congress Plateau. It is not yet known whether it will be postponed for a second moment or will take place at earlier scheduled dates. However, one of the participating singers of this festival has said that she will withdraw from the competition as she cannot sing at this time of tragedy and sorrow that Albania is going through.
â??Dear friends, I regret to announce to you that at this time of tragedy, sorrow and panic I am unable to perform on December 5-7 in Magic Song 2019. My heart is laden with despair and suffering for the rats that are no more and I am unable to sing when so much has happened to my countrymen: so I have to officially withdraw from Magic Song 2019. I am convinced that Magic Song will do a commendable job of contributing in its own way to to help the afflicted, I will quietly give my help and contribution to ease their pain, and to respect their indelible losses. I apologize to my fans who were waiting for my performance and I thank the organizers and Ardit Gebren for everything they did for me and my colleagues, â?wrote Besa.
