After a very difficult week, it seems that Albanians are trying to get back to normal. Not all that we went through was simple, but we all need to become strong for someone, and especially for the children. Children are the most psychologically burdened, so great care must be taken of the parents. As the city has begun to be illuminated by the end-of-year holiday décor, it's a good time to calm the kids and make them forget what they've been through. Aside from decorating the tree and creating a warm and festive atmosphere, pediatrician Lira Gjika says it is important to make them feel loved.

In a status on her Facebook profile, Gjika has shared two words to parents and all adults.

â??Kids love holidays so much, they look forward to it. Expect something good to happen that will please them. Parents, adults, try to really make the children happy, surprised by the joy they experience, because the holidays have the potential to establish peace among people, in the family or in the community. Children know and feel this, so they expect it. Parents and other adults, try that after these difficult days we are going through (children are the ones who have suffered and are most frightened) to make this holiday truth a reality, not just with stuff and noise but in first of all with your love, what you really feel in your soul for them.
