The prestigious "Time" has announced "Man of the Year"! The well-known Swedish activist has been standing in front of the Swedish Parliament's court since June last year in protest of climate change. With placards in their hands, Greta created a global movement that made her an inspiration to many peers around the world.
The 16-year-old's influence increased so much that in September millions of people around the world began to protest in every city. During her 16 months of activities, she met with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and with the head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis.
Over four million people joined its cause on September 20, protesting what was also called the largest ever organized protest in the history of mankind on the issue of climate change.
There are so many reasons to rank for Greta Thunberg and obviously strong motives that rank her at the top of the list of most protagonist characters for the year we are leaving behind!
