In just 24 hours Gjiko and Nora's song "Anna" has 1 million clicks on Youtube. The song seems to be well liked, though there are criticisms of the famous duo. Let's start with the lyrics.
Many have written that the lyrics are similar to Dolly Parton's song "Jolene". In 1973 Dolly released the song, and begged "Jolene" for a girl not to get the love of her life, even though she could. Nora and Gjikon, meanwhile, have addressed this fable in their song. There are even similarities between Jolene and Anna's text.
"Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, I beg you, please don't take my man. Please don't take him even though you can. I understand that you can easily take my man, but you don't know what he is for me, Jolene. You can have any male you want, but I can't love you again, He's the only Jolene for me. " part of the song by Dolly Parton.
"Oh Anna / Oh no no Anna / They wanted you to not get it / I know you can 't be fair" (right), - part of the lyrics Nora sings.
"That he is all that I have / It's my life / You can cone afterwards / Think about it," Nora sings.
Meanwhile, in addition to the text that bears a striking resemblance to Jolene, the last part of the video reminded us of a video of Shakira 10 years ago. Shakira's famous video clip and Alejandro Sanz's "La tortura" cannot be easily forgotten. As they glanced at the windows of their homes for an unlikely love, Nora and Gjiko apparently were inspired by this video for the clip of "Anna."
Shakira waiting for the onions and crying.
The same scene with Nora, even though our singer appears curated in the kitchen, unlike Shakira.
The next scene is when they see each other from the window. Alejandro-Shakira and Gjiko-Nora.
