The Sophia robot is manufactured by Hong Kong-based Hanson Robotics and is the first robot to acquire Saudi Arabia.

It has a basic electronic unit, which puts it into operation.
She uses a system similar to Eliza, which is one of the first attempts at simulating a conversation, just like Chatbots. All the answers are stored in a cloud, which always records new records, saves them and so Sofia in the future, but other robots will be improved through machine learning.
A conversation with Sofia seems overly realistic, and she's even given interviews so far in many countries around the world.
