According to a recent study in the United States, overweight people snore more when they sleep. This is a disorder that affects about 18 million Americans.

A disorder that occurs when the tongue is positioned in such a way that it blocks the airways. Persons suffering from apnea tend to have trouble breathing and snoring.

But according to researchers most likely to suffer from this sleep disorder are obese people. Due to excessive tissue in the throat, people who are healthy tend to snore and face apnea disorder.

But on the other hand, lack of sleep causes the disruption of two hormones that affect the need for eating. This means that when you are lacking sleep, you feel hungry all the time and do not perceive it when you are fed up.

Therefore doctors advise you to be careful with your diet and physical activity, because obesity besides snoring causes a large number of health problems, such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer and so on.
