Albanian Ambassador to China Selim Belortaja says the situation with coronavirus in China has not been resolved, but according to him it is not an apocalyptic situation.
Beloraja, among other things, adds that the number of deaths in China is estimated at 50-60, with 65 deaths just yesterday. According to the Albanian ambassador to China, so far there is no cure for the nCoV virus.
"In times of epidemics and crises it is expected to crack both: the exaggerations (to the apocalyptic picture!) But also the euphoria and shattering of the virus .. with chest beats and recitations! There's also a pop-style video song these days, when after every stanza, a handful of graphics send the virus to the devil .. just with an uppercut! Myths and imaginations flourish, and little room is left for true scientists who are struggling to find the roots of the virus, its isolation, the cure. And the safeguards for the future, â?Belortaja said.
"I am compelled to intervene again for the responsibility we have for our compatriots here. The outbreak of nCoV has not stopped at all. There is not a nCoV drug yet !! The number of infected increases by about 3,000 per day (20,613 reported in total). While daily deaths range from 50-60 (65 deaths the day before). 427 total digits. Not only the leadership of the government, but the entire Chinese society is dedicated to this absolute priority: stopping the epidemic and finding the scientific formula for healing. The ambassador calls on all Albanians to take care of themselves as there is no concrete solution so far.
"Today we are talking about we have no reason for euphoria. I address especially the Albanian brothers and sisters in China. However harsh and difficult they are for everyday life: follow and respect the restrictions, rules and recommendations of the authorities here: administrative and sanitary. They know more about what is happening here. Second, take care of your own choice of location this week! No one has discovered a formula that doesn't tell you! No one has any reserved state platforms! Make a mature decision, â?says Belortaja.
