"Rare" is more than a personal label for Selena Gomez - now it's the name of her beauty brand, which is eagerly ready to be introduced. The singer announced on her Instagram account that her brand of cosmetics is ready.

"I've been working on this special project for two years and can officially say that Rare Beauty will be unveiling at @sephora stores in North America this summer," the singer wrote on Instagram, along with a video in which she is testing out some of these makeup products.

After discovering the big news, she also opened the brand's official Instagram page, which within an hour reached 1 million followers after the official launch.

Gomez's own views on mental health are consistent with the concept of this beauty brand. "I think Rare Beauty can be more than just a beauty brand," the singer says in the video. "I want us all to stop comparing each other and start embracing our unity. You are not defined by a photo, a consent or a comment. Rare Beauty is not about how people see you. others, but with the way you see yourself. "

The brand itself introduced Gomez's official statement on the official website already on Tuesday. "Our mission is to talk about beauty, self-acceptance and mental health," the description says. "We want to help people have more access and support in services, help them feel more authentically connected to each other and less alone in the world."

Gomez has not yet revealed what types of products will be included in her line, but judging by the products she introduces from the video, it looks like fans can look forward to the foundation, lipsticks, brushes, eyebrows and more. Rare Beauty will be exclusively sold at Sephora stores in the US, Canada and Mexico
