Diodado has won the Sanremo 2020. After five spectacular nights of more than 30 hours of broadcasting, Sanremo finally has a winning name for its 70th edition. The last race was between Francesco Gabbani and Diedados without television.
A race that ended with three names in the last race: Penguin Tattici Nucleari with Ringo Starr, Francesco Gabbani with Viceversa, and Diodato with "Fai Rum".
After televising the three songs, the group Pinguini Tattici Nucleari came in third.
Amadeus, the artistic director and moderator of this edition, managed to get the Italians back from Sanremo, surpassing 54% viewership. Night by night, the spectacle elements brought to the stage by Rosario Fiorello also made this 70th edition of the Italian song long remembered and commented as one of the most watched of the last 40 years.
