Women have been fighting for equality for hundreds of years, as a phase is coming where the inequality phenomenon is beginning to decline, and it is clearly not the anger that was once used as a key factor. Their strongest weapons, which have been at the forefront of both open protests and ideologies, are the most dignified display of women struggling to establish their positions in the country. Something that is "read" prominently in the fashion world, what has made models, but also weight stylists, raise the question: is fashion really a feminist approach ?!

However, the world is still run by men!

Something like this is almost undeniable and feels in the air even in the Albanian reality. Politics is dominated by the opposite sex, some of the most important businesses or media in the country are run by men, and even in the fashion field, the same trend is evident. But the examples coming from the west are more numerous and meaningful! Wall Street is full of influential people in the financial markets with executives of men's global-lucrative profits. The fashion industry is also a multibillion-dollar venture that touches not only trends but also art. And she is headed for the most part by men! But should the fashion industry change compliance to meet the standards of modern society? We all have different physics, shapes, lengths and aspects of ourselves that haunt us everywhere as shades ...

A few years ago, Karl Lagerfeld, the face of Chanel fashion house, said that the famous singer Adel is more or less a "fat" mass on stage. She is a healthy woman, identified with the long-standing reputation for success, has won numerous awards in her music career, but Lagerfeld's thinking does not measure talent and vocals, but her outward appearance! The same stylist presented at the fashion runway collections of circus woolen dresses, inspired by the latest trends and visibly combined with doses of feminism. Placard models with phrases like "First Lady" and "My story is your story", protesting with a megaphone make a name for themselves at that time. Although this was a good step towards commercial feminism, the fashion house benefited enormously from the publicity and media news of this show in the aftermath. The fashion that at the beginning of the time significantly affected feminism, but a little later it turned into a story for everyone.

Of course, models are not activists, but it is said to be the younger generation beyond storefronts. The problem is that this war only comes with stages, like the need for feminism, that seems to have a minor impact on the fashion industry. Ateliers, or those in factories around the world where clothing or bags and accessories are made by well-known brands, are still poorly paid, and live in poverty. 14-16 hours a day minimum wage work where unions do not work too! A minority of them are also physically abused, and are unable to send their children to school to receive education.

This side of fashion is hidden from the public, but when it comes to our attention to new clothing collections, they have a tremendous driving force to pay attention to all possible forms. Many women see fashion magazines on pages full of pictures of beautiful women and alta fashion models as a source of empowerment and inspiration. Articles on successful women, and achieving greatness in their fields are another side of the coin. Feminism is about increasing the choices available to women around the world, removing the restrictions specifically imposed by sex. Therefore, feminism is not compatible in the context of the fashion industry, as both sectors are significantly struggling in different directions and objectives.
