As more and more information is coming out about coronavirus, most people are doing their best to be helpful and spread the facts. But even in these scary times, false information is still spreading on the Internet.
Something similar has happened recently, where a Twitter account has been removed as "BBC Breaking News" in order to spread fake news that is disturbing the public. The user of the account issued a rumor that the Harry Potter actor, Daniel Radcliffe, has a coronavirus, which his publicist immediately clarified.

On Twitter it was written: "Daniel Radcliffe turns out to be coronavirus positive. The actor is said to be the first celebrity to be publicly confirmed." Nay, this is fake news, but a bunch of reporters from The New York Times, CBS News and Politico reposted it, which is ... worrying.
This is not to laugh! The post attracted attention very quickly because the account looked terribly similar to the BBC and managed to deceive people by taking advantage of genuine public concern. Since that time, the account has been suspended.

Nothing has been said yet if Daniel has seen the rumor. (He chooses to stay away from social media, which seems to be the best idea for this time period.)
All of this makes us stay informed about the true facts about coronavirus. Remember to double-check the virus news before panicking and also wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.
