A man in Morristown, New Jersey, has gone viral after being filmed holding a note in which he thanked medical staff for saving his wife's life.

When families have a loved one suffering from coronavirus, they are often not allowed to visit them because of isolation needs. This means that many sick people and their loved ones are separated at a time when they most need each other.

However, in the emergency department at Morristown Medical Center, New Jersey, a man found a creative way to thank the team that saved the woman.

"Thank you all for the urgency of saving my wife's life. I love you all," reads the poster. The man also appears to be holding his hand over his heart.

The gentleman's identity is still unclear, and the nurses do not know which of his patients was his wife. Therefore, it has not yet been confirmed whether the woman had coronavirus. However, the likelihood of a coronavirus being high is high, as the virus has infected more than 4,000 people in the country.

The nurses who were there were the ones who took the picture. However, the photograph itself tells a story familiar to many, as the needs to implement isolation have become drastic. Isolation not only separates the people affected by their loved ones, but also prevents them from expressing gratitude to healthcare workers who have fought hard.

The gentleman's gesture was poignant for the staff. While most people's lives have been isolated, that of medical staff has only accelerated and become more chaotic.

This photograph touched us all. It is amazing to see not only the staff, but all the floors of the hospital coming together during this challenging time.

Touching messages delivered in innovative ways have been commonplace lately. Another coronavirus-recovered patient also went viral after leaving a poignant message in his isolation room for the medical staff he cared for.

During their stay at the Cleveland Clinic, staff used the glass wall to communicate with an unidentified person to avoid the risk of COVID-19 contamination.

â??This window has been the most influential window in my life. In the days when I saw you work hard to keep me and others alive, unable to thank you for the time you poured on me and though I will never have the opportunity to pour the same love and support on you, I want you to know that you are all stars you shine. â?

Gratitude is the only thing we have the opportunity to give at any time. Despite the limitations set by the current pandemic, we can find a way to support our healthcare heroes, first by adhering to the rules of social distance.

Other ways include donating supplies, making financial donations or showing your support by using the hashtag #fightingcoronavirustogether on social media. Remember, we love them more than ever, so let's show up for them in the best way we can.
