In the Czech Republic, testing has come to be known as the "smart quarantine" - a new way of predicting, through data from mobile phone companies and bank cards, people's contacts with coronavirus.

This measure has been successful initially in Taiwan and South Korea and is therefore justifiable to extend to the Czech region of South Moravia, with the aim of freeing all Czech citizens from movement restrictions as soon as possible.

The "smart quarantine" is organized by the military and managed by the head of the National Crisis Headquarters, epidemiologist Roman Primula. He said that after Easter, which will be in mid-April, the measure will be implemented in all Czech regions. "Smart quarantine" means that the location of the affected person is determined by its location and, through GPS or banking data, it will be seen where it has moved in the last five days and which persons may have infected. Persons with whom the infected person has been in contact should be isolated.

For the "smart quarantine", the military has deployed 253 troops and 82 vehicles. Currently, there are 2,866 people infected with coronavirus in the Czech Republic, and 17 patients have died.
