Katy Perry gave the news of the pregnancy suddenly and in an original way. She simply appeared with a round belly in the music video for the song "Never Worn White". After the clip was published, she wrote on social media that she finally didn't have to hide her belly by holding a purse.
A few hours ago, the singer also revealed the gender of the baby, which is apparently a girl. With a photo of her partner, Orlando Bloom, with her face painted pink foam.
"She's a girl," the singer wrote next to the photo.

Katy will become a mother for the first time, while Bloom will become a father for the second time, as she has an 8-year-old son with model Miranda Kerr.
